সময়ের কণ্ঠস্বর ডেস্ক : আমেরিকার স্টেট ইউনিভার্সিটি অব নিউ ইয়র্ক এর এক মনোবিজ্ঞানী আর্থার অ্যারোন ১৯৯৭ সালে প্রেমের অনুভূতি নিয়ে গবেষণা করেন। দেখা যায়, দুটো মানুষ হঠাৎ করেই একে অপরের প্রতি খুব বেশি মনোযোগ দেওয়া শুরু করেছেন, তারা তীব্র আকর্ষণ বোধ করছেন এবং সুখ অনুভব করছেন। খুব অল্প সময়ের মধ্যেই এই পরিবর্তন আসতে পারে।
নিউ ইয়র্ক টাইমস-এ তার এই গবেষণাটি ‘মডার্ন লাভ কলাম’ নামে প্রকাশিত হয়েছে। বেশ কিছু প্রশ্ন এবং জবাব রয়েছে যার মাধ্যমে আপনি সম্পূর্ণ অপরিচিত একজনের প্রেমে পড়ে যেতে পারেন।
এ গবেষণায় অ্যারোন দুই দলে মানুষ ভাগ করে নেন। একটি দলে জুটিবদ্ধভাবে নারী-পুরুষ কথা বলতে থাকেন। এভাবে তারা একে অপরের সঙ্গে টানা ৪৫ মিনিট কথা বলেন। অপর দল সবাই মিলে আলাপচারিতায় ব্যস্ত ছিলেন। যারা জুটিবদ্ধ হয়ে আলাপ করছিলেন, তাদের মাঝে সম্পর্ক অনেক এগিয়ে যায়। তারা নিজের পছন্দ-অপছন্দের বিষয়ে আলাপ করেন।
পরে এদের আরেকটু গভীর বা একান্ত বিষয় নিয়ে আলাপ করতে বলা হয়। এভাবে বেশ কয়েক দফা তারা ৪৫ মিনিট ধরে আলাপচারিতায় সময় কাটান। ছয় মাসের মধ্যে দেখা যায়, একটি জুটি একে-অপরের প্রেমে পড়ে যায়।
