পৃথিবীতে ভূত বলে আদৌ কোন কিছু আছে নাকি সে নিয়ে বিতর্কের শেষ নেই । তবে বিজ্ঞান ভুতের অস্তিত্বকে স্বীকার করে না । কিন্তু তবুও মানুষ ভূত ভয় পায়, কেউ কেউ তো নিজ চোখে ভূত দেখেছে বলেও দাবিও করে । পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে এমন অনেক জায়গা আছে যেখানে গেলে ভূতদের দেখা মেলে বলে শোনা যায় ! তেমনি কয়েকটি জায়গার বর্ননা থাকছে আজকের লেখায় ।


চাঙ্গি বীচ, সিঙ্গাপুর: চাঙ্গি বীচ দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বযুদ্ধের সময় ব্যবহৃত একটি জায়গা । ‘সোক চিং’ যুদ্ধ সংঘটিত হবার সময় জাপানিরা নিজেদের বিরোধী ভেবে অনেক অনেক নিরীহ চীনা নাগরিককে হত্যা করে তারপর তাদেরকে এখানে কবর দেয় আর সেই থেকে এই জায়গাটি পরে নাকি হয়ে ওঠে ভূতুড়ে । এখানে রাত হলে শুরু হয় ভূতুড়ে সব কাজ কারবার । মনে হয় দূর থেকে কিছু মানুষ কান্না করতে করতে সামনের দিকে এগিয়ে আসছে । অনেক পর্যটক কিছু না জেনে এখানে রাত্রে বেলা ঘুরতে আসে আর ফেরার সময় নিয়ে যায় অদ্ভুত এক অভিজ্ঞতা । এখন পর্যন্ত প্রায় হাজার খানেক মানুষ এমন কান্নাকাটি শোনার কথা স্বীকার করেছে । আর স্থানীয়ও কেউ এখানে রাতের বেলা ভুল করেও আসে না ।
